Construction activities anticipated for August 26, 2011 through final project completion (Mid September)

 

Final Free Project Team Thank You BBQ

Free catered BBQ TODAY August 26th from 12 p.m. 2 p.m. located in the Woodmen Commons Shopping Center south of the Jared's store. Project team members will be available to answer questions and talk about the project. Pedestrian access will also be available to those who wish to walk over the new Woodmen Road Bridge. Local businesses will be on-site with information and promotions as well. BBQ is limited to first come-first serve and please refrain from seconds so more people can enjoy.

 

Work to be completed:

• Property restoration near Woodmen Valley and Woodmen Commons Shopping Center’s
• Landscape and irrigation work on the detention ponds between Stinson Road and Woodmen Commons Shopping Center
• Contract punch-list work

 

Traffic Changes:

• Various daytime lane closures may exist on Academy and/or Woodmen from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Minor night work may also exist to complete punch-list items

 

The above activities are dependent upon the weather and resource availability.

 

Two lanes on Woodmen and three lanes on Academy will be open during peak traffic hours. All businesses are open for your patronage. Slow down to 30 mph through the work zone.
